Our PRIVATE Mountain Cattle Ranch in Union County West of LaGrande, Oregon is surrounded on three sides by private property and on one side by USFS "road closure" property.
It consists of approximately 12,000 acres with elevation from 3500 to 5500 feet. This forested property has canyons, draws, creeks, timbered thickets, and open grassy flats and meadows. We operate our GUIDED Elk and Deer hunts out of rustic cabins located on this property.
We also hunt 3,000 acres of PRIVATE Mountain Ranchland on McIntyre Creek in the North Starkey big game unit. This property is popular with SELF-GUIDED Deer and Elk hunters.
RANGELAND PROPERTY
Our 21,000 acres of PRIVATE RANGELAND in the Umatilla County, Columbia Basin Big Game Unit South of Echo, Oregon is ideal country for large MULEDEER BUCKS and PRONGHORN ANTELOPE.
This open country consists of grassy rolling hills with shallow draws, bluffs, springs,and knolls intermixed with dryland wheat fields and irrigated alfalfa fields.
Both guided and self-guided hunts are available. Lodging and meals are not provided for these Rangeland hunts, however, it is available within ten miles of the hunting areas.

CABINS
Our rustic log cabins are dry, warm and comfortable. Hot Propane Showers are provided. Wood burning heating stoves with propane range and refrigerator and generator powered lighting. Bunks are located upstairs and on the ground floor. Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, we provide the rest.
TRANSPORTATION
Plan on arriving in camp the day before your hunt begins, and departing the morning after your hunt ends, or on guided hunts after the noon meal on the last day of your hunt. Our camps are accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. We will meet you and drive you into camp, or escort you and your vehicle into camp
During your stay, we provide all ground transportation to and from the hunting areas utilizing 4-wheel drive vehicles and ATV's.
Pendleton, Oregon is the closest commercial airport. We can provide you with transportation to and from the airport.
If necessaary, transportation of your harvested big game animal to a local processor will be provided where you can arrange for packaging and shipment.
GUIDED hunts end after the noon meal on the last day of your hunt.
